Paradise Aquatics is a full service construction and maintenance company established in July 2008. We are organized into three divisions’ construction, service and maintenance, where you will always have the opportunity to deal with an owner.
We are a fully integrated pool and spa construction company. All the major construction disciplines are under our ownership. This allows us first hand control over the quality and scheduling of your project.
The Paradise Aquatics service and maintenance division is currently managing over 300 pools and spas for various clients, with varied water filtration systems, sanitizing processes ranging from traditional chlorine to state of the art chlorine free systems, and heating systems from gas fired to solar. All of our technicians are industry certified; factory trained and provided with a minimum of 40 hours of product troubleshooting and process training each year.

About the owner the man behind the name
Paul McQueen founded the company in 2008. With determination and discipline galvinized in the United States Marine Corps, he entered the private sector as a masonry superintendent and contractor for commercial and industrial projects all over the country including many here in the Hampton Roads Area. During this time he was always amazed at the lack luster manner in which pools were constructed and the poor quality of the end product. He watched time after time the lack of creativity and quality of workmanship in the pool industry. Paul started Paradise Aquatics as a service-only based company where he learned first hand the various problems he and his clients were having. At this time he decided to start remodeling and renovating pools in addition to servicing them. By this time he realized that there was certainly a need for a custom pool builder that was both honest, reliable and competent. One that can offer complete turn-key solutions for everything from pools, pool houses, landscaping, fencing, decks, stamped concrete, outdoor fire places to full on outdoor kitchens, tiki bars, to whatever situation each client may need or desire. In 2009 Paradise Aquatics building division was launched. After extensive searching for the right pool manufacturer to represent our philosophy of buisiness we chose to exclusively build the Legacy Edition Pool brand. We feel honored to be one of only 50 builders in the United States allowed to offer this exclusive product to our clients.
Paul is an active member in his community and industry. He is involved in the Associated Pool and Spa Region 2 Tidewater Chapter, Bennett’s Creek Football Association, Upward Youth Basketball program, Churchland Soccer Association and his local church.
